If You'Re Drinking Beer, Be Responsible Enough

If you feel like releasing your stress, if you feel like partying, if you feel like going out, or if you feel like lightening up your mood, the most likely thing you'll do is invite your friends for a night out --- hit a bar, grab some drinks, talk, joke, and enjoy drinking beer. Sometimes too, if you feel like being alone, if you feel like replaying or rewinding some memories and flashbacks, if you feel like wallowing, or if you feel like feeling your sadness, then usually a good way of spending your time is by drinking beer. Although, it is a fact that drinking beer may not really ease your burden or may not really help solve your problem, at least it will let you feel numb or forget what your feelings are for a few hours.

Drinking beer shouldn't be made a habit or a daily routine especially when one drinks too excessively. Remember that too much of something is never good. The same thing with too much drinking beer, it's not only going to damage your wallet, but what's even worse is that it will damage your health. When drinking beer, always check yourself once in a while. Know your limitations; don't drink to a point that you've already forgotten where you are, what you are doing, and whom you are with. Test yourself and gauge your capability of drinking beer. Do not over-drink; still make yourself conscious of everything that's going on. Drinking beer shouldn't be a pastime wherein you can just forget about everything and forget about yourself. It shouldn't be the case. Even in drinking beer, one must still be very careful; one must be responsible enough to stop himself when he feels like it's already too much or if his mind and body cannot take it anymore. It's unwise to just let go of everything --- wits and senses --- just so one can still continue partying with the rest. One can still enjoy the party without over-drinking. There are consequences when a person drinks too much beer. If you're old enough to drink beer, you must be old enough to be responsible, too.

In drinking beer, do not think of it as drinking water. Beer has alcohol content, no matter how small the level of alcohol content there may be; there still is alcohol in it. Don't drink because you want to forget and you want to wake up not knowing what happened. It's good to party and to drink with friends and acquaintances, but then again, know what you're drinking, know what your limitations are, know how to control yourself, and most of all, know when to stop.
