Consider some of these tips in selecting beer

    Strength.

Determine if you like your beer to be strong or very strong, very light, light or just a medium taste. At times, it would also depend on your mood and the environment you are in.

There will be times when you just want to have your beer very strong just to experience that kick – but there will also be situations when you will want to opt for the light beers. This may be perhaps if you are with your family & kids – or on dates, if you are still singe.

If you are one with beer geek buddies, times when various beers on your table will not be seldom. As certified beer geeks, every chance to taste on new beer stuff will not be passed upon. Then follows that highly awaited moment of evaluating beers on the table – with every beer geek given the chance to rate the drink accordingly.

    Flavor.

Choose a beer that fits your taste. You may like one that is tart, sweet or bitter. There are actually a lot of choices out there. As there are many types of beers available, expect to have more out there that you may have not yet tried.

There are those that have been added with spices and herbs. There are also those that have fruity taste. There are so many, that you are sure to have more than one type that will be to your liking.

The combination of the specific ingredients of your beer will have different effects on the drink – and each will appeal differently to different drinkers. If you have found one drink that ranks above all others – then you found your treasure in that beer.

    Color.

It can be white, blond, amber, dark, or flavored. Color can usually be associated to a particular flavor – though it won’t be the case all the time. But as a rough guide, this sort of association will do.

Many beer experts are able to recognize based on color, as to how such a beer would taste. Yes, mere mortals can only envy. But if you are one who is on his way to being a beer expert as well, then your time will come.

    Format.

What would you like for your beer? Would it be draft or bottled? These two differs only in their serving temperature. And however you want it, you can always choose the one you prefer for the moment.
