Beer Bottles: A First Glance Before You Taste The Real Thing

Having a good look, a good presentation, a good view, a good appearance, and a good style will go a long way, especially if it's also paired with good quality. One of the best ways to attract a consumer is through the packaging. If it appears nice and appealing, it will lure the eyes of the buyers, and will entice them to try the product. Once they've tried it, and they like it, they'll continue patronizing it. They will then become a part of the loyal consumers. So, packaging still counts.

This also holds true even in beer. Don't you wonder why beer bottles have various shapes, colors, and sizes? The beer companies of course would want to differentiate their brands from the rest. Through the beer bottles, they get to present their product through a good first impression. Once they've hooked the beer drinkers with the slick beer bottles, they will then hook them with the taste of the beer. Remember that what the consumers see first --- their first glance of the product --- are the beer bottles. The beer bottles would be the consumers' first feel and first connection to the product. The designs of the beer bottles would lead them to trying the drink. Of course, if the beer bottles don't look that appealing at all, consumers would just pass on them and would first try other brands whose bottles are more presentable. The shape of the beer bottles --- from the bottle opening or the mouth to the neck to the body and to the base --- would really matter; if it's easy to grip, easy to hold, easy to drink, etc. The size or the form and the color of the beer bottles --- if it appeals to one's senses, eyes, and touch.

However, it doesn't only end in that first glance. Once the beer bottles have captivated the interest of the drinker, it will then proceed to luring them into the delightful taste of the beer, and this is the most important thing that a beer company must consider. The beer and the brand must not only be remembered through the beer bottles, but rather, through the good experience that a drinker feels after consuming the beer. The beer bottles comprises the first allure, the second and most important part is the taste. These two must go together if the beer company wants to have the loyalty and patronage of the consumer.
