These beers may come with refermentation and with seasonings or flavorings. 5.Fruit Beers These beers have been added with fruit juices in one of the stages of production – may it be during the fermentation, lagering, etc. The added juice will give the beer its unique fruity flavor – and may correspondingly affect the color of the beer as well. 6.Wild Beers These comes with or without refermentation. These beers are fermented with the use of airborne wild yeasts. 7. Blended Beers These beers are a blend of two or more different kinds of beers. The intention is to create a unique flavor that is a softer version of the original. Some will also use this technique to revive an older beer. 8.Barley Wine This is a top fermented beer that is brandy-like in taste but much stronger. This type is brewed with the intention of a higher alcohol content. One should not be misled by its name however, as it was just named so – to counter the strength of wine from long ago. 9.Flavored Beers In this case – additional flavorings as chocolates, spices, vegetables, honey and the like are placed into the mix. The beer would provide the underlying flavor, with the added ingredient coming out to become the dominant taste of the drink. 10.Seasonal Beers As the name implies, seasonal beers are made precisely for specific occasions or seasons.
